Industrial Visit B.Com, BBA and Language Departments.

On 21st October 2024, B.com and BBA students were taken on an industrial visit to a sugar factory in Madhur, organized and guided by Prof. Immaculate and Prof. Hemant. The visit provided students with a comprehensive understanding of the sugar manufacturing process, from the initial crushing of sugarcane to the final stages of refining and packaging. Students had the opportunity to witness the advanced machinery used in the factory and learn about the various stages of production, including the extraction of juice, boiling, and crystallization.

Prof. Immaculate and Prof. Hemant explained the economic significance of the sugar industry, its challenges, and its impact on the local economy. Students also gained insights into sustainability practices and waste management techniques adopted by the factory. The visit was highly informative, offering valuable real-world exposure that complemented their academic learning, and sparked discussions on industrial operations and management.
