REPORT ON CAMPUS CLEANING DRIVE BY NSS UNIT

The NSS Unit of St. Aloysius Degree College and Post Graduate Research Centre organized a successful campus cleaning drive on November 23, 2024. The event saw the enthusiastic participation of 50 students from various streams, including B.Com, BBA, BCA, and BSW. The drive aimed to promote cleanliness and environmental awareness while contributing to campus maintenance. Students were divided into teams and assigned specific areas, including classrooms, corridors, and outdoor spaces. Equipped with cleaning tools and guided by faculty coordinators, the students worked diligently to remove litter, clean surfaces, and organize common areas. The initiative fostered a sense of responsibility and teamwork, highlighting the importance of a clean and green environment. NSS Coordinators Ms. Maqsura Fathima and Mr. Varun expressed their gratitude to the participants and encouraged them to continue promoting sustainable practices. The drive concluded with a reflection session, where students shared their experiences and pledged to uphold cleanliness in their daily lives.
