Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce

Prof. Robin Frank is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce and Management, St. Aloysius Degree College, He has been teaching for the undergraduate program for the past three years. He comes with a rich corporate experience of eight years in the areas of Banking Operations and Corporate training.

He has participated and published articles and research papers on areas such as “Women Entrepreneurship’, ‘Financial Literacy’, ‘Higher Education’, ‘Monetary Policy’, and ‘Sustainable Development’, at different National and International seminars.

Currently the Placement Coordinator, Joint Cultural Coordinator, Joint Coordinator for the Christian Students Association and member of the Internal Quality and Assurance Committee (IQAC) of St Aloysius Degree College – Cox Town, Bangalore.

Corporate experience of eight years (July 2008- May 2016) : Northern Trust Bank- Northern Operating Services Private Limited (NOSPL)

Worked in various roles within the Client Servicing Department; Investment Manager Liaison Group (IMLG) and Asset Servicing and Practice Department-Trade and Settlements Group. Area of banking operations were, Client instructions, International/ Global wire payments, Global/Domestic Bonds & Trades, Foreign Exchange (FOREX) and Money Market transaction, Derivative Instructions (Futures, Forwards, Swaps, and Collaterals), New hire process training and Team refresher training coordinator.

Freelance Trainer for two years (April 2015- 2017) with iStar Skill Development Private Ltd. Involved in conducting and facilitating skill development programs and courses for under graduate students

In June 2018 joined St. Aloysius Degree College – Cox Town, Bangalore, as an Assistant professor, subjects taught are Financial Management, Income Tax, Fundamentals of Accounting, Financial Accounting, Marketing Management, Stock and Commodity Markets, Business Regulations, Entrepreneurship Development and Computer Applications in Business.
